My interest in everything martial began at a very young age. I recall watching anything connected to martial arts even if it was animated! At one point I was so into a Chinese series called 'Monkey' I even fashioned my own staff from a broom stick and painted it to match my hero's weapon of choice.

I first started working with children as a qualified football coach and found the experience extremely rewarding. I saw the boys grow in confidence and excel.

It never ceases to amaze me how children can flourish with the right guidance, positivity and encouragement. It can really have a profound impact.

I love to teach, not only because of the children, but also because of what it teaches and reflects back to me.

My martial arts experience totals 17 years. I have trained in Karate, Kickboxing, Boxing and finally Kung Fu, in which I currently hold a 2nd degree Black Belt. 

I have a strong drive to pass on the information in our courses. My passion is teaching children how to be safer, more confident, and most importantly believe in themselves. 

I can proudly say that I have learned, and am still learning from one of the very best in the business, and am confident that what we teach is both usable and effective, even for complete beginners. 

The Reach One Teach One project for me is a culmination of many years of hard work, both physical and emotional. 

My highest goal is to take the message we teach to as many as possible, and to change lives.
